Mission: Sea Species Certified

Seafood mislabeling occurs when a seafood product is sold as under a name that does not convey the correct species. This can happen at any link of the food process chain from hook to plate. Whether inadvertent or intentional mislabeling can serve as a vector for Illegal ,unreported and unregulated fishing. We are currently working to get a Sea Species Certified label on Seafood products that have been genetically tested to certifiy that it is the species it is labeled as.
